"We See Dolphin Every Day"

Meet "Baby Stellar", first sighted with its mom, Patch, in early October 2006 on the Intercoastal Waterway north of Marco Island.  We believe Baby Stellar was a week old when first sighted. Stellar and the other newly dolphin sighted between September and November provide an excellent opportunity to study dolphin early in their lives.
Meet "Baby Bounder", here photographed with its mom, Darwin(a). This photo was taken in September when Bounder was about 4 to 7 days old.  Over 100 of our dolphin have been photo-id'ed, named and coded. Their movement has been tracked over the past 12 months through many resighting in Area I of the Study.
